[texworks] message from TeXworks user(MiKTeX)

It appears to me to be an alias/pointer for mthelp. You can type texdoc texdoc

But texdoc -s texdoc  produces:-

   mthelp: -s: unknown option

What does  texdoc  do for you on TeX Live?
