Just got my hands on TW from MikTeX 2.8 on Win 7 The dictionaries should to to C:\Users\<name>\AppData\local\MikTeX\2.8\TeXWorks\Dictionaries note that AppData is a hidden directory and thus one have to enable 'Show hidden directories' in Windows Explorer.
