[texworks] "memory could not be read" error

What do you mean by "the program crash when it tries to open the pdf  
file"? Are you trying to open a PDF file using TeXworks? AFAIK, you  
cannot do this. That is, I don't think you can use TeXworks as a PDF  
viewer.
