[texworks] Problems with Svorak keyboard layout

In most programs it indeed works as expected, but some
programs, including the terminal, read Ctrl-combinations.
à la QWERTY regardless.

Sure.  It's only some programs which assume QWERTY
for Ctrl-combinations.

I've looked in several guides on defining one's own
XKB layouts, but none mentions how to interfere
with Ctrl-combinations.

Probably not.  I'm just wondering if anone knows
a workaround -- other than having an image showing
both the QWERTY and Svorak values of each key beside
the screen...
