[texworks] Template does not compile

All, This may have been already mentioned, but if I choose New from  
Template and select article.tex from Basic LaTeX documents, the  
template does not compile failing on:

! LaTeX Error: Command \c at lofdepth already defined.
Or name \end... illegal, see p.192 of the manual.
