I'd agree: this is similar to, for example, WinEdt

By the way, as a Windows person I'd expect it to be inside %appdata%,
which in English on WinXP is at

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\

so on my system would be

C:\Documents and Settings\joseph\Application Data\TeXWorks

(Currently, I have

C:\Documents and Settings\joseph\TeXWorks

which feels odd!)

I think that the %appdata% variable is also applicable on Vista
(although the location is altered, of course).
