<html><head></head><body><div style="font-family: Verdana;font-size: 12.0px;"><div>I'm hoping that I'm not posting to the hack texlive mailing list and that you cover latex (I got the address from tug.org) but this list was the only one marked general so here goes.</div>
<div>I'm a newbie to latex but not mark up (I'm familiar with html and, to some extent, groff,) I've been reading a lot about latex and I wondered, how do I make it so that my docs text does not go off center per page when it is a pdf file? For instance:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Text of first page</div>
<div> Text of second page</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I'm certian that it is this way to facillitate printing but it looks horrible on a monitor and I want a way to turn it off.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks</div></div></body></html>
