Hi,

On the 'Quick install for Unix' page it says that you do not need to
be root in order to install TeX Live, and you are encouraged to run
'./install-tl' as a normal user. However, this fails almost
immediately when the installer attempts to create the directory
'/usr/local/texlive/'.

How are you supposed to install TeX Live without running the command
'sudo ./install-tl'?

Regards,
