I am mystified by the claim that xy-pic produces poor output. I use it extensively (using my own front end diagxy) and it produces superb output.<br></blockquote><div><br>I did not say xy-pic output is poor but I said that its output in comparison to tikz output or pstricks output is poor. Xy-pic used to use fonts for many diagrams until xy-pdf was introduced.<br>
