The first time I tried to install LeX Live, the process was really really slow, so it quit.<br><br>The second time I tried, the installer failed left right and sideways with several copies of the following error:<br><br><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">(null): fatal: Can't get long name for C:\texlive.</span><br>
<br>I didn't do anything special, just double-clicked the install-tl.bat installer.<br><br>Specs:<br><br>TeX Live 20100512<br>Windows 7 Pro x64<br>MacBook Pro<br><br>Additional information:<br><br>I just helped the Haskell community with a <a href="http://trac.haskell.org/haskell-platform/ticket/136">very similar bug</a> in their installer.
