More likely the rules get output as graphics w/in a (using ps names<br>
rather than pdf names so that I do not have to look up the latter)<br>
0 0 0 setrgbcolor or 0 0 0 1 setcmykcolor section.<br>
<br>
The printer probably wants only setgray on b/w pages. (Their rip might<br>
look for those and output them to a separate, single plate press.)<br>
