<font face="Georgia">I want to print out the value of certain variables
-- \textwidth for example -- to help with debugging and can't find any
information on how to do it, despite Googling till my eyes went funny.
I do remember finding an article somewhere but I've lost it. <br>
<br>
I've tried \typeout \textwidth (which just types "\textwidth") and I
found a \showthe command, which shows no error but doesn't do what I
want. There's a \write command also, apparently but I can't find docs
for that either.<br>
<br>
I'm sure I'm missing something blindingly obvious, but I'm blind to it
... can someone help please?<br>
