Package ogonek worked well for me, although the ogonek symbol it
produces is not as robust as the one produced with \k command in T1 or

only, not glyphs from arbitrary languages.<br>

It certainly doesn't make sense to support anything but math symbols.<br>
Or do you think it should support Chinese too?<br>
