Hi,

I am not sure you can help me on this, but I thought I would try. I have read quite a bit on the web about including figures within my LaTeX document and have done a lot of experimenting. I am at an impasse.

What I found out (to my suprise) was that the 3rd party product I have, "PcTeX", does not support inclusion of figures within a document, although the graphics package is installed and the macros work. It turns out that the *.eps file is not displayed unless you buy the more expensive version.

If I download and install the grphics package myself is there any reason I can't get the full functionality? The application is looking in a default directory for graphix. This shouldn't pose any problems correct?

Finally, do you know of any good "table" packages ou there?

I appreciate any help you might offer, even if it is to point me somewhere else. Thank you, and long live TeX,

Aaron Peters
