[texhax] OTF fonts calling in LaTeX

You might consider using the XeTeX engine. Just drop the OTF font file in
your working directory and use
the \font\myotf="yourOTFfontname" then you can typeset a document with this
font using your ordinary
unicode keys. Look at an example in this link:
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/render_graphic.php?site_id=nrsi&type=media_graphic&filename=../sites/nrsi/media/xetex_unicode_hindi.png&image_type=png&width=100&height=102
