[texhax] how to use lettergothic?

Excellent; thank you very much. How could I have figured that out for myself?

It looked like you used a filename from ~/texmf/fonts/tfm/urw/lettrgth as
the basis for the font name, but when I tried that with another of the
fonts provided by getnonfreefonts [Garamond], that didn't work right. I tried:
  \font\rm=ugmr8r
but all the text ran together with no spaces. So I obviously have deduced
incorrectly how to choose the font name. So could you please explain what
the correct algorithm is?
