[texhax] left to right enumerate list

Hello all,

Within the `multicols' environment,

\begin{multicols}3
  \begin{enumerate}
  \item \item \item...
  \end{enuemrate}
\end{multicols}

the contents are divided in 3 columms:

1.   | 4.   | 7.
2.   | 5.   | 8.
3.   | 6.   | 9.

(up down list)

A member of VietTUG wanted to get the following list ( 
http://viettug.org/forum/3892 ) :

1.   | 2.   | 3.
4.   | 5.   | 6.
7.   | 8.   | 9.

(left right list)

I haven't found any suitable alternatives.

Could you please help him to get such list?
