[texhax] texlive mac os x tiger

Hi,

I  have just installed the 2005/texlive on a Mac OS X tiger
system.  All seems to go well including the   texconfig init
command.

tex and dvips all seem to begin execution fine.  And dvips seems to run
correctly as it is configured; i.e. I can view the resulting ps file.

However, when I try to run tex it fails to locate the epsf file
which is specified within tex file via \input epsf

Any suggestions would be appreciated; thanks very much in advance.
