[texhax] Question about Small \sum

Oleg, yup, that's what I meant.  What you suggested works, but I'm
wondering if there's a better way to make the \sum symbol small---after
all \textstyle affects the entire \[ ... \] section, and I may just want
to change that symbol.

Ok, I just tried it, and
    \[
    \textstyle \sum\limits_{i=0}^n a_i
    \displaystyle \sum\limits_{i=0}^n a_i
    \]
works.  Thanks guys!
