If it's like Windows or Mac OS X, and you mean the blinking text  
cursor in the first bit of text, that's a function of the currently  
selected tool.

Change from the text selection cursor (Select Tool) to the  
scrolling / interaction tool (Hand Tool) and the blinking text cursor  
will go away.
