[texhax] Problem with mktexlsr

I am using the Zapf Chancery fonts, but I find them too small.  Following
a suggestion of someone on this service, I use the following file, which I
call pzcbig.fd that adds s*[1.2] into the DeclareFontShape macro.  I put
pzcbig.fd into the same directory as pzc.fd and ran mktexlsr.  Even so,
TeX apparently cannot find it.  Is there a parameter I should be adding to 
mktexlsr?
