I'd thought that there was to be a paper at Euro TeX 2004 directly 
preceding the release of Omega 2.

There are some articles on Omega in the weird preprints, but not 
preprints for TUG2004.

The Omega site was recently up-dated, and I've seen two different user 
numbers (3 and 6) so there's something to look at there I'd think.
