the first page of my document has "0.5 setgray0 0.5 setgray1" ..and nothing else. i didn't find any clues in the style file i have been using or google as to specifically where it came from, although it looks like postscript. so i was hoping, you know, if i could get a hint as to it's origin by posting it here. -bryan
