[texhax] problems with "\usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx}"

    "Package graphics Warning: pdftex option does not work with standard TeX."

Run pdftex instead of tex.  Output will be PDF instead of DVI.

If you really want DVI output, then you have to translate the jpeg to
eps (imagemagick, netpbm, jpeg2ps, and many other utilities can do this).
