[texhax] Too many math alphabets

I am writing just to confirm that Chris's suggestion

 \newcommand\bmmax{0} before loading bm

works very well, and is clearly better than not using bm.sty at all. This
way, you get to use the bm.sty package, but tex only sets up the math
alphabets you actually use. Many thanks, Chris. .................Edgar

Yes, this is an advert ... no, it is simply vital information
that every user needs:-)...

In a soon to be published volume,
(see News on http://www.latex-project.org/ for further samples)
you will be able to find something very much like this
(together with many similar):

Error message:
Too many math alphabets used in version <name>

Meaning:
You used too many different math alphabet identifiers in your
formulas. If this error occurs after adding the bm package, define
\newcommand\bmmax{0} before loading bm and try again; this prevents
the package from preallocating math alphabets.

It may be relevant.
