[texhax] A question about Tables

    I have a LaTeX document with a table. The table has about 75 entries and
does
not fit on one page. LaTeX is doing two things, that I do not like:

        1) When I start the table, LaTeX starts a new page. This means about
             half of the last page is blank.
        2) LaTeX truncates the table so it fits on one page.

Is there way, to turn off these features?
