</div>pgfplots was first released in 2008. Eitan died in June 2009.<br>

Certainly nothing has been done to update the tex4ht support for pgfplots<br>
since then :(. I hope it will happen at some point, but I suspect it<br>
will take a rather intensive research effort to even begin to figure out<br>

<div>Googling around had initially led me to Tex4ht as someone seemed to use it for pgfplots. I just wanted to make sure I knew where we were at. I do know programming in C and in Python and Javascript, but admittedly TeX seems like a bit of a mystery to me at times, so I'm mostly just poking around.</div>
