[tex4ht] memoir + tabulary bug

I have run into the following problem using tex4ht; I do hope you can help.

Minimal example (call it test.tex):
\documentclass{memoir}
\usepackage{tabulary}
\begin{document}
\begin{tabulary}{\textwidth}{ll}
Blah & Blah\\
\end{tabulary}
\end{document}

Running htlatex test.tex fails with the error:
! Undefined control sequence.
\n:@testpach: ...lse \if \@nextchar l\@ne \add:ar
                                                  <\else \if \@nextchar
r\tw...
l.4 \begin{tabulary}{\textwidth}{ll}

If one of the standard classes is used instead of memoir, the document
compiles normally. Similarly, using (say) tabularx instead of tabulary also
allows the document to compile. So there is something in the combination of
memoir and tabulary that is causing the problem.

Cheers,
Alex.
