I am suspicious that something in the update process is causing this
error: If I look at<br>

"k:\texlive\2016\bin\win32\dviout.exe" "%1"
in
HKLM/Software/Classes/TL.bitmap2eps.convert.2016/shell/open/command the entry is
"K:\texlive\2016\bin\win32\bitmap2eps.exe" "%1" (with the drive letter in uppercase)
Whether this needs to be deleted, I can not judge. Is there any reason why this key has to be updated?
