<div class="">will not be found for LaTeX jobs.</div>

<div class="">Note that MikTeX has propagated the error and in fact made it much worse,</div>
<div class="">by omitting even more files from the distribution, retaining only the </div>

<div class="">of the documentation. Now *no* LaTeX job is capable of producing</div>
<div class="">a validating PDF/A or PDF/X.</div>

<div class="">I was only alerted to these errors by a user in Germany reporting failure</div>
<div class="">when typesetting of his thesis, to meet the PDF/A requirement for</div>
<div class="">submission to his university library. He was using LyX/MikTeX .</div>
<div class="">The only way to get his job working properly was to download and install</div>
<div class="">directly from CTAN.</div>
