<div>Hi,<br></div><div><br></div><div>I have a problem with dvips processing a dvi file generated with latex and including a postscript figure. </div><div><br></div><div>When I use dvips from texlive-2012, the figure in the output postscript file misses part of the axis labels and labels inside the plot. However, if I use instead dvips from texlive-2011 all is well.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I attach here the two output postscript files, <a href="http://example-texlive2011.ps">example-texlive2011.ps</a> (the good), <a href="http://example-texlive2012.ps">example-texlive2012.ps</a> (the bad), the original figure plot_dY_SpT_zmh.ps and the dvi file example.dvi.</div>
<div><br></div><div>The commands I run are:</div><div><br></div><div>/usr/pkg/texlive/2012/bin/x86_64-linux/dvips example -o<br>mv <a href="http://example.ps">example.ps</a> <a href="http://example-texlive2012.ps">example-texlive2012.ps</a><br>
/usr/pkg/texlive/2011/bin/x86_64-linux/dvips example -o<br>mv <a href="http://example.ps">example.ps</a> <a href="http://example-texlive2011.ps">example-texlive2011.ps</a><br></div><div><br></div><div>I can't understand why the output of the latest dvips is this weird.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Both texlive versions were installed using the "./install-tl --gui=text" method in a Fedora 17 Linux box.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks for your help,</div><div><br></div><div>Nicola Caon</div>
