[tex-live] GPG message using tlpretest on OSX [was: Re: tex-live Digest, Vol 159, Issue 74]

As Norbert wrote, these are the stupid export/import regulations.
Cryptographical software must not be exported from USA. Once gpg becomes a
part of TL and appears on a server in the USA, it will be illegal to export
TL to other countries. Let's assume that we want to overcome this problem
by not allowing to distribute TL from USA. However, there is another
problem, cryptographical software must not be imported to France. Once gpg
becomes a part of TL, it will be illegal to use TL in France. And there may
be more similarly stupid regulations. Thus you should not complain here,
you should complain at the governments of these countries and request
cancellation of these stupid regulations.
