[tex-live] option --dry-run to backup action did not output anything

~$ kpsewhich --var-value TEXMFSYSVAR
/usr/local/texlive/2016/texmf-var

~$ less /usr/local/texlive/2016/texmf-var/web2c/tlmgr.log

does not display any pruning action, it only contains
today's update.

Start with
[Fri Apr  8 08:14:32 2016] update: texlive.infra (40294 -> 40301)

Ends with
[Fri Apr  8 08:17:57 2016] update: collection-fontsextra (40207 -> 40334)
