Thank you for the explanation. I have contacted Professor Henningsen who
is listed on the Sourceforge site.

Having downloaded the styles, I find that 15 are licensed under the
LaTeX Project Public License and 5 not; is it impractical to include
those which are appropriately licensed, particularly as the 5 without a
license have not been revised for twenty years? 

Also I wonder if there is a problem with contacting the original owners
for permission because a Google search reveals no-one who matches the
original author of three of the unlicensed styles.
