Why would it be non-TDS compliant, Reinhard ?  In TeX Live 2011
I have :

	D:\TeX\Live\2011\texmf-dist\fonts\type1

so why would  :

	D:\TeX\Live\2011\texmf-dist\fonts\otf

be non-compliant ?
