Sure enough, but the point is that updates might bring in new bugs.

Warning: I do NOT advise to stick to that, I just proposed it in 
responses to Phils idea of using TL2011 when it gots frozen for TL2012
preparation.

Becasue the point at which TL2011 is frozen for TL2012 is as arbitrary in 
time as the time it was frozen for production of TL2011 DVD, so
statistically there is the same amount and the same probability of
bugs. Only that the DVD version has seen more tests then other
daily snapshots of tlnet...
