[tex-live] ctan mirror of tex live

this morning, i wrote:

i've finally managed to run last night's tex live mirror.

i have pushed the results out to dante (and, if it's still listening,
tug.ctan.org)

if anyone happens to know what happened, and whether i might have acted
more slickly, i would be happy to be instructed...
