Yes, Mathias is in contact with the texhyphen developers and he is
even involved in the development of the new German hyphenation
patterns.  It's nice that there is someone from Switzerland in the
team who takes care about Swiss German.  This is very important
because nobody in Germany knows what's going on in Switzerland.
German and Austrian are very similar but in Swiss German is quite
different.  For example, there is no 'ß' in Swiss German, which has a
severe impact on hyphenation.

And it was Mojca again who convinced Mathias to come to BachoTeX...
Any reminders, Manuel?  :)

PS.: When I said that nobody in Germany knows what's going on in
     Switzerland, I mean that Switzerland is mentioned quite rarely in
     German TV news.  Even if the Swiss elect a communist government,
     I'm not sure whether German TV stations think it's worthwhile to
     mention it.
