Yeah, I noticed it, but didn't try either. This issue was discussed a bit on the
texdoc list (I just noticed the archives were private, I changed that) at the
end of 2008. At that point nothing looked satisfying. In january 2009, I
discovered that one, but I didn't test it since. (Looks like I'm terribly late.)

I guess someone should include it in a package on CTAN so that it gets in TL and
anyone can use it.
