[tex-live] freeze of binaries and possible format file problem

But this has to be done in all cases, no? We don't ship fmt dumps?
I somehow cannot check because here I(amd64/linux) I have no problems
with the format dumps.

Do we burn .fmts on the DVD? I thought they are generated on the fly?

Could it be that you had some old .fmt hanging around in ~/.texlive2009/...?

I am honestly out of ideas here, sorry, and I don't have other archs
to test it.
