there's a common practice of "minor bug corrected, not enough to merit
an announcement" (i presume that's what you mean?).

i did one such 10 minutes ago.

which part of c'est la vie is russian?

(i picked up very little colloquial russian when learning it; the only
thing i remember is "an old friend is a _droog_, a new friend is a
_tovarishch_"[*], but it doesn't quite fit "c'est la vie" sort of
effect.)

[*] 1989 seemed a long way away in the '50s and '60s when i was learning
russian.
