that last has worried me for a *long* time. just recently, i started
work on recasting a well-known package's comments into a document (with
a view to presenting the result to the author as an example of what
might me done). unfortunately, the package i chose had an awful lot of
documentation, and i only managed about 2/3 of it before more pressing
matters arose.
some day i'll resume, but not just now; the stuff isn't going to be
ready for release (even if the author approves) in time for tl'09, for
example.
