[tex-live] Metafont: DVI and PDF trouble

For the record, generating graylj.tfm with
mf '\mode:=ljfour; input graylj'
results in the same tfm file as the gray.tfm that is in TL now (modulo
the family/codingscheme/etc. info).  The checksum is the same,
(CHECKSUM O 3200504003).

So I don't see anything to do on the TL side.
If someone thinks there is, let me know :).
