I had a play with this and I managed to get tlmgr off the ground but
bin-* packages are PITA. It should be possible to upgrade TL'08 to
TL'09 but, given the amount of trickery involved, I'm not sure if
there is much point in doing so. But hey, it was an interesting
exercise anyway :)
