[tex-live] tlmgr update and test

I've got it working. I made a copy of each dir that it failed on, then 
pointed the fonts.conf to it, e.g.,

<dir>C:/Program Files 
(x86)/texlive/2008/texmf-dist/fonts/opentype-copy</dir>
<dir>C:/Program Files 
(x86)/texlive/2008/texmf-dist/fonts/truetype-copy</dir>


What an absurd workaround!
