[tex-live] dviselect change wish: no output with -s

Hi,

if anybody works on the dviselect error (not that I really expect 
it, when pdftex is all the rage nowadays :-), could you also please 
change the following annoying behaviour:

The option -s is there to silence the output or progress messages. 
Nevertheless, one single new line is output -- that makes that 
option not really usable, one still needs a redirection to 
/dev/null. Maybe one can inhibit output of that newline, too.
