Could you send me a list of papersizes supported by Debian? It's no
problem for me to support them. Actually, when I wrote the code I
made all the paper sizes defined in the dvips config file available to
pdftex. I decided to remove them because the main idea was to provide
a script which does the same as texconfig but works on Windows too,
but not to invent any new features.

I had been wondering why each program supports an arbitrary subset of
available paper sizes. I thought that I could postpone this
discussion to TL-2009 development, but since Debian people obviously
have an answer, it would be quite helpful if you can send me a list of
paper sizes supported by Debian. Though I'm quite reluctant to make
significant changes now, adding new paper sizes can be done without
touching existing stuff.

Regards,
  Reinhard

Microsoft isn't the answer. Microsoft is the question, and the answer is NO.
