    Have there been any news on the licensing front? 

I *may* have (good) news from Adobe on the licensing of Utopia next
week.  We'll see.  Don't get your hopes up yet :).

As for the GhostPCL fonts, based on past discussions with Peter Deutsch,
I rather doubt they will ever be released under a free license.  I have
no contacts at URW to even ask.  (If anyone else does, please do write
them if you are so inclined.)
