[tex-live] Build failure on Mac OS X 10.4.7: dvipng

Pretty bad for something as fundamental as libm to export a symbol like
that, especially with no leading _.  Any chance of getting Apple to fix it?
(Of course, I should have called it kpse_hash_create in the first place,
but I never expected kpathsea to be installed as a system library, as it
has been.)

    So I'd like to propose the following patch to texk/dvipng/ 
    configure.ac (and the resulting update to texk/dvipng/configure,  

Sounds fine to me (anything along those lines).  The dvipng/configure.ac
bears little resemblance to the original, so we may as well hack at
will.  Eventually I hope to do our stuff with --enable-tetex-build, as
with dvipdfmx, but I got bogged down.

I'm really glad you found a way to deal with it.

My experience was that autoconf 2.59 had to be used for dvipng; later
versions failed in one way, and the early autoconf2.13 used elsewhere
fails in other ways.  It's a sad state of affairs, but I just went with it.
