[tex-live] last minute update to ams-latex

thomas esser has just called my attention to several
erroneous versions of files in the ams-latex collection
as posted on ctan and the ams site.

in particular, amsmath.dtx was a version left unfinished
by michael downes that should not have gotten into
general distribution.  (amscd.sty and subeqn.tex were
also not in synch, but those are less critical.)

repairs have been made, and the correct versions are
now posted on the ams site, obtainable as a tds-compliant
zip file at
    ftp://ftp.ams.org/pub/tex/amslatex.zip
and also as separate files in an arrangement that is
mirrored to ctan.  i'm about to notify the ctan crew
that this has happened so that they can trigger the
mirror.

if at all possible, the corrected files should get into
the tex live collection now under construction.
